Infineon XMC 2GO

Diese kleinen Dinger kommen immer mehr in Mode - und für 5 EUR ist das nur schwer zu schlagen, nicht mal im Selbstbau. Das Infineon XMC 2GO ist ein Entwicklungsboard für den ARM Cortex M0-basierten Mikrocontroller XMC1100 (64 kB Flash, 16 kB RAM). Auf dem Board ist ein weiterer Controller, der über USB gleich Programmierung & Debugging ermöglicht, das sonst uebliche USB_to_TTL_Kabel entfaellt, es reicht das Ladekabel des Handys, wenn der Stecker passt.
Die serielle UART-Schnittstelle des XMC1100 wird als virtueller COM Port ueber USB bereitstellt.

Jürgen Pintaske hat das Board bereits in seine MicroBox-Serie aufgenommen. Bin gespannt wann das erste Forth da drauf läuft.

Infineon XMC 2GO

These little things are now more and more fashionable - and at 5 EUROS it is hard to beat, not even if you build it yourself. The Infineon XMC 2GO is a development board for ARM Cortex-M0 based microcontrollers XMC1100 ( 64kB Flash , 16kB RAM ). On the board is another controller that allows via USB programming & debugging; the often required USB_to_TTL_cable is not necessary, it is possible to use the charging cable of a mobile phone if the connector fits.

The serial UART interface of the XMC1100 is providing the virtual COM port via USB .

Jürgen Pintaske has already added this Board to the MicroBox series as it fits perfectly – as designed for it. Let's see when the first Forth brings it to life. (jp)
